Once again this year, CHA will participate in the Reisterstown Festival Parade on Saturday, September 11th.  As in the past, we encourage all members and their families to join us in this very worthwhile event.  We are especially anxious to have a large contingent of our COP organization participate.  This helps us to send a message to criminals that we are well organized, have a large community presence, and will not tolerate crime within our community.

 

I would like to invite you and your family to join us at Franklin Elementary School at 8:00 AM on Saturday, Sept 11th..  Our lineup number is 71.  Since parking is limited and the police will close Reisterstown Road at 8:30 AM, we urge you to arrive at the school by 8:00.  Car Pooling is recommended.  You should be able to find additional parking at Chatsworth Elementary School, which is just a short walk from Franklin Elementary

 

The parade route will begin at the corner of Cockeysmill Rd and Reisterstown, Rd.  From there we will walk to Hannah Moore.  The total distance is approximately one mile and should only take about an hour to complete.  The pace is slow and very easy.

 

If there are some of you who would like to march with us, but who have physical limitations, you can still participate with our contingent in your automobile.  I can provide CHA COP magnetic signs that will adhere to the doors of your car, and flashing amber lights with a magnetic base that will adhere to the roof.  The use of automobiles so equipped enhances the message we are trying to convey.  Of course, where possible, we must consolidate the use of vehicles; consequently, several people may have to ride in the same vehicle.  If interested, please reply by return email or call me at (410)-833-3734.
