Ionic Lodge #145 Commemorative Brick
Ionic Lodge #145 now has a 15' by 15' replica of Fort McHenry around the flagpole in front on the Lodge building. The Fort was built to honor the Freemasons who came to the defense of Fort McHenry and the Freemasons who serve/severed in our armed forces. It was also built to honor Ionic's first Grand Master of Maryland, Bro. John A. (Jack) Young Jr. who dedicated the flagpole when he was Grand Master and who chose the Fort as his pin logo during his two years in office.
There are approximately 750 - 800 bricks for sale that can be inscribed with the name of someone who made a difference in your life. Someone who you may want to be honored or remembered. Honoring someone who you believe passed this way on earth and should be honored by having their name inscribed in stone someplace other than in a cemetery.
The cost of one (1) Inscribed Brick is $50.00. If you purchase three (3) or more bricks the cost is $35.00 per brick. These subscription prices shall be open to members of Ionic Lodge, Sharon Lodge, The Eastern Star, Job's Daughters and the Rainbow Girls for two months. After that, the bricks will be open for subscription to the general public. Please use the Ionic Brick form to submit those names you wish to honor along with your check payable to Ionic Lodge #145.
